Chaka Khan’s voice earned her nearly 20 Grammys\, a hosting spot on Soul Train & The Billboard Music Awards\, and two nominations for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. With a career that spans from the 70s to the present\, Chaka Khan has also racked up a roster of collaborations including Quincy Jones\, Prince\, Ray Charles\, Mary J. Blige\, and of course her original band “Rufus.” \nPhillippia is the epitome of a musical phenomenon. Her sound is representative of all the influences in her life – a fusion of R&B\, Soul\, Gospel\, Reggae\, Jazz\, and Hip Hop. She started out singing in a Classic Rock cover band in Buffalo\, NY\, despite her affinity for country music. A year later her and her husband\, Corey Coleman\, started their Bluesy-Americana duo Kate and Corey. They spent the next 5 years releasing 2 albums\, several singles\, and playing all over the southeast. The duo even got to play at the notorious Ryman Auditorium as finalists in the 2012 Country Showdown with Jewel as the host. \nKate Coleman released her first solo album\, “PAST”\, on April 28th with a production entitled “Tremors of my PAST” which involved modern dance\, videos\, and live music to bring the story of her 10 song album to life. She has since had the privilege of opening for Chuck Cannon and Samantha Fish and also participated in the prestigious Wire & Wood Songwriter’s Festival. Kate’s songwriting is inspired by a wide range of genres/artists: Patty Griffin\, Darrell Scott\, Jack White\, The Dixie Chicks\, and The Grateful Dead to name a few.  \nHighbeams are a trio of brothers that play emotive\, high energy Folk Rock. Since their first show on New Years Eve 2012\, the band has captured audiences all over the Southeast with their warm\, personable stage presence and rich three-part harmonies. Keisha has toured with OutKast\, Erykah Badu\, and Big Boi; Kourtney carries on the family tradition started by the matriarch of the musical family – soul legend Millie Jackson. They both also sing with the Yacht Rock Revue on the regular. \n. \nGroove Centric started in 2008 in Atlanta\, GA.
