DESCRIPTION:Featuring Ben Bailey on drums and Dave Frackenpohl on guitar.  \nBorn in Chicago\, IL\, Matthew Kaminski has been playing the Hammond Organ since he was five years old. Studying under Chicago jazz pianist Gordon James in his teens\, Matthew was accepted into the University of Arizona’s jazz studies department as a jazz pianist. There\, he studied jazz with Dr. Jeffrey Haskell and Mike Eckroth\, and played in the jazz ensemble and combos as well as studying classical piano with Dr. Suzanne Knosp. Matthew also attended master classes by Wynton Marsalis and Kitty Margolis\, and performed with vibraphonists/marimba musicians Dave Samuels and Dave Friedman.  \nMatthew has a passion for jazz organ playing and has studied with Hammond B3 masters Ike Stubblefield\, Tony Monaco\, and Scott Giddens\, as well a sharing the stage with fellow organists Pat Bianchi\, Linda Dachtyl\, Wil Blades\, Todd Hildreth and guitarist Grant Green Jr. Additionally\, Matthew has been a full time piano teacher since 2001 and currently teaches at The North Fulton School of Music’s Atlanta locations\, Callanwolde Fine Arts Center\, and has taught at the college level for Georgia Tech in Atlanta\, GA. She started out singing in a Classic Rock cover band in Buffalo\, NY\, despite her affinity for country music. A year later her and her husband\, Corey Coleman\, started their Bluesy-Americana duo Kate and Corey. They spent the next 5 years releasing 2 albums\, several singles\, and playing all over the southeast. The duo even got to play at the notorious Ryman Auditorium as finalists in the 2012 Country Showdown with Jewel as the host. \nKate Coleman released her first solo album\, “PAST”\, on April 28th with a production entitled “Tremors of my PAST” which involved modern dance\, videos\, and live music to bring the story of her 10 song album to life. She has since had the privilege of opening for Chuck Cannon and Samantha Fish and also participated in the prestigious Wire & Wood Songwriter’s Festival. Kate’s songwriting is inspired by a wide range of genres/artists: Patty Griffin\, Darrell Scott\, Jack White\, The Dixie Chicks\, and The Grateful Dead to name a few.  \nHighbeams are a trio of brothers that play emotive\, high energy Folk Rock. Since their first show on New Years Eve 2012\, the band has captured audiences all over the Southeast with their warm\, personable stage presence and rich three-part harmonies.
