Unfortunately\, the tragedy of hurricane Katrina temporarily ended his hopes for a career in Louisiana. In the spring of 2006\, Dave was awarded a full scholarship to the prestigious Julliard Jazz Program in New York City. However\, after several days of intense meditation he declined the offer and returned to Florida State University\, where he received his Master’s Degree in the winter of 2008 after further collaboration with his mentor Marcus Roberts. In 2010\, Potter was featured in a novel entitled “The New Face of Jazz” about the younger generation of Jazz musicians making an impact in the current scene. More than 50 years into his career\, Neil continues to record and tour on a regular basis. \nHarvest Moon was formed to pay tribute to the legendary career of Neil Young. Drawing on his time with Buffalo Springfield\, Neil’s extensive solo career\, CSN&Y and the electrifying albums with Crazy Horse\, there is a lifetime of music to explore. \nComprised of seasoned veterans of the Atlanta music scene\, Harvest Moon was formed in 2018. The band was started by Rod Gunther on guitar and Henry Davis on keyboards\, both of whom are members of TRIBUTE – a celebration of The Allman Brothers Band.
