DESCRIPTION:Proceed from tickets sales go to Bert’s Big Adventure!\nCome out for an evening of banjo strumming song and stories with Captain Crimmins and raise money for a great cause. \nEstablished in 2002\, Bert’s Big Adventure is a nonprofit organization that provides a magical\, all-expenses-paid\, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. \nFollowing the annual trip\, Bert’s Big Adventure provides year-round support through initiatives such as the Reunion Adventures\, the Fairy Godparent volunteer program and additional charitable services. The trip and programs create a community of families that establish lasting friendships with others facing similar challenges. \n  \nTICKETING / RESERVATION INFO: \nYour ticket serves as your dinner reservation. Tickets are the same price for adults and children\, and are required for every man\, woman\, and child. Additional arrangements are not required once tickets are purchased. Please note we will be presenting checks by 7:30 to accommodate our later show reservations. If you have any special seating requests please make sure to contact us for availability at least 48 hours in advance.

SUMMARY:Rock\, Funk\, and Sole Dance Party w/ Kayte Burgess and Friends
DESCRIPTION:Kayte Burgess will be joined by some of the best musicians and vocalists in Atlanta including bassist Tres Gilbert (New Edition)\, drummer ‘Lil John Roberts (Janet Jackson)\, guitarist Tomi Martin (OutKast)\, and Indie keyboardist/vocalist Byron Henry Rose.  The will be playing Classic hits ranging from Journey to Teena Marie and more.  DJ Rev Lee and live Art from Corey Whitehead. \nOriginally from Toronto\, Canada\, Burgess studied voice\, piano and theory at the Royal Conservatory of Music.  At Humber College\, she studied Jazz performance\, arranging\, and theory at Humber College ultimately launching a series of international performances in from Toronto to Dubai\, Europe\, Caribbean\, and the U.S. Burgess’ original album recordings “My Own Design” and  “ Checked Baggage” received radio airplay in Canada\, France\, and the UK.   \nKayte has also performed as an opening act for many artists including Adina Howard\,  \nSean Kingston\, Erykah Badu\, Jill Scott\, and Eric Roberson.  Her film credits and extensive performance experience includes singing background for Al Green In the Feature Film “On The L “filmed in Toronto and Starring Lance Bass and Joey Fotone from NSync; She also sang backgrounds for Lionel Ritchie and Eric Roberson; and Kayte has performed In Toronto for Quincy Jones\, Mariah Carey\, Da Brat\, Jon B\, Tyrese\, John Legend and Andre 3000.   \nKayte is saluted as an artist that appeals to all audiences as she has performed for the National Association for Black Females in Music and Entertainment (NABFE) and the U.S. tour oF “Women Who Jam” while wowing stages in cities like New York\, Cleveland\, Detroit\, Washington DC\, Nashville\, Memphis\, Charlotte\, Atlanta\, and Los Angeles.  It was through this tour Kayte made contacts and became a regular performer in New York at Ashford & Simpsons Sugar Bar and on Showtime at the Apollo in New York.  It was when Kayte relocated to Atlanta she became part of a very successful corporate touring Unit “Simply Irresistible” founded by Ronnie Garret (Tyler Perry).  Kayte appeared in Tyler Perry’s ‘ “ I can do bad all by myself “ behind Mary J Blige and has performed in Atlanta for Tyler Perry\, Angie Stone\, India Arie\, Trina\, Raven Simone\, Donald Trump\, Toni Braxton\, and Ludacris.  Her Band “Simply Irresistible “ was featured on the first two seasons of the Reality Show “Braxton Family Values” as Trina Braxton was an original member of the band and brought the band on the show.  This Unit Simply Irresistible has opened up for Maroon Five\, Kelly Clarkson  Luke Bryan\,  Steven Tyler\, Pitbull along with entertaining various celebrities like Donald Trump\, Katie Couric\, Mike Tyson\, Monica\, and the Houston Rockets.  Kayte teaches music and dance to a wide range of students including disadvantaged youth at the Carerra after school program.  Kayte for the past year has been one of the stars of a new Show in Atlanta Called Clubesque infusing Broadway\, Vegas\, and Burlesque into a modern-day revue performance. \nTICKETING & RESERVATION INFO: \nPurchasing a General Admission ticket does not guarantee a seat/table and will be STANDING ROOM ONLY \nAdditional reservations are not required if a table\, booth\, or banquette has been purchased via Big Tickets. \nPLEASE NOTE: If earlier dinner reservations are made\, your seats are not guaranteed for the show.
