SUMMARY:Lola Cole + All Cows Eat Grass
DESCRIPTION:Atlanta native\, Lola Cole\, is an artist that salutes blues\, jazz\, and funk music. She has been considered a hybrid artist; singing and writing with a conscious mind\, from a spiritual viewpoint\, while taking you to church. Her music influences include NEEDTOBREATHE\, Otis Redding\, Bill Withers\, Ella Fitzgerald\, and Lauryn Hill. From captivating audiences at SXSW 2016\, to sharing stages with artist like LeCrae and JJ Weeks Band\, Lola Cole’s Fierce\, hymnal\, yet sultry sound is sure to mesmerize. \nAll Cow’s Eat Grass:\nAll Cows Eat Grass (ACEG) is a band & art collective based in Atlanta while harkening to sounds within as well as far beyond the borders of the A. Dedicated to the preservation of free minds & boundless souls\, All Cows Eat Grass shares stories based on real-life\, fantasies\, dreams & nightmares. Friends for decade\, ACEG prides themselves on being cultural curators\, marketers and producers of music and live show experiences.\nAll Cows Eat Grass’ Self-Help is the electro-funk pop band’s debut album and the follow-up to the 2014 remix project\, The Kool Collection. Both projects\, Self- Help and The Kool Collection\, have set a tone for the uniqueness of this band’s sonic abilities. You can even find one of the band’s most beloved songs\, “Daydream” from The Kool Collection\, in season 2 of the hit Netflix series Dear White People.\nThe band’s latest release is a collaborative EP which features the vocal prowess of soul icon N’Dambi. This project has been described as “a sonic journey through time and space\,” receiving praise and acclaim from trusted sources such as AfroPunk.com.\nACEG front man T. Brown’s travels as music director for Janelle Monáe contributed greatly to the creation of the tribal\, funky\, electro-trap tunes that express a locally cultivated world sound. This music is intended to feel as comfortable in North Memphis as it is in South Wales.\nAll Cows Eat Grass gets its name from the common practice of beginner music teaching techniques. These words\, by way of acronym\, are a pneumonic device used to help students remember the notes that correspond to the spaces of bass clef of the grand staff; A\, C\, E\, and G. But the intrigue of the metaphorical possibilities is why the band ultimately chose its name\, aligning with its hopes to spread messages of unity and love. \nTICKETING & RESERVATION INFO: \nPurchasing a General Admission ticket does not guarantee a seat/table.
