The Susi French Connection – Rocking 70s Disco and Soul for the Discriminating Dancer
The Susi French Connection (SFC) consists of a group of local music industry vets who came together to do one show of 70s songs in 2000. 22 years later, SFC performs semiannual shows of songs that bring fans onto the dance floor. Because once wedding season is over, it’s a lonely long night for those of us who love to get out there.
From disco to classic soul and the occasional singer-songwriter gem, the band digs deep into the 70s cannon for songs that are fun to play, perhaps overlooked, or fit nicely into a mashup. One never knows what will pop up on the set list, but rest assured a cocktail and some Bee Gees will get you where you need to go.
