Singer, songwriter and rock n’ roll soul siren Rosey proclaimed “The Lovechild of Robert Plant and Rickie Lee Jones” by Entertainment Weekly, first received international attention with her major label debut, ‘Dirty Child’ (Island/Def Jam). Rosey appeared regularly on the pages of Billboard Magazine & Rolling Stone as a pioneer in the Urban Rock scene. She performed her Funky Rock & Roll on The Tonight Show, was shot by Annie Leibovitz for Vanity Fair, toured alongside acts such as Morcheeba & Melissa Etheridge and made several appearances on her beloved KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic. Rosey’s music has been licensed to numerous TV shows & film soundtracks including bridget Jone’s Diary, Shallow Hal with opening credits on Something New by Sanaa Hamri. Her voice & words have been featured along side the likes of Reggie Watts, Beat Ventriloquists, Hilary Duff, Govinda & Susto, many of whom she also co-wrote, recorded & engineered tracks with including, Kelis, Raphael Saadiq, David Ryan Harris & Phillip Bailey. Chances are good you’ve heard her voice in some popular TV jingles. The past few years have found her hiding out in the greater Atlanta area of Georgia, where she has immersed herself in culture, started an organic farm, a musical collective and opened her own professional recording studio, working with amazing artists of all genres, while also engineering and producing her own records. Her upcoming album, ‘I Heard You Been Singin’ is the result of deep inner exploration and illuminations shared with her Southern Soul Brothers & Sisters in a deep state of Funk! Look for ‘I Heard You Been Singin’ being birthed into the consciousness in early 2018!
