Born in New Orleans but conceived in Atlanta, it’s a collaboration that just HAD to happen.

The catalyst though was the legendary band 311. Every March these NOLA natives bring the music back to the home folks with “311 Days Bourbon Street Takeover”. Headlining two nights of music and debauchery, 311 brings in the highest energy tribute acts they can find to carry the party on into the wee hours and thus they reached out to ATL for ILL Communication and Behind the Sun.

Rockin’ the best of the Beastie Boys and Red Hot Chili Peppers like only ILL Comm and BTS can, playing back-to-back on consecutive nights was not only a perfectly spiced-up recipe for a party, it was also a natural thang for the bands to team up on stage for a Big Finale… and Bourbon Street’s been bouncin’ ever since!
Now the guys have taken this show out on the road, but they haven’t forgotten the home folks in the ATL. Behind the Sun will be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of RHCP’s seminal “Blood Sugar Sex Magik” album and ILL Comm will be rockin’ classic Beasties in their trademark non-stop throw-down. But the party ain’t done til the bands take the stage together for their mash-up Finale!
ILL Communication – Fronted by 3 of ATL’s most versatile performers, ILL COMM brings back the glory days and one-of-a-kind party vibe of Ad-Rock, MCA and Mike D with their high energy tribute to the Beastie Boys.

Behind the Sun – Touring with their new frontman, who just happens to be a dead ringer for Anthony Kiedis, and nailing the legendary musical chops of Flea, Frusciante and Smith, BTS has asserted themselves as the nation’s ultimate Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute act.

Purchasing a General Admission ticket does not guarantee a seat/table.

Bar area seating is first-come, first-serve.

Additional reservations are not required if a booth, table, or banquette has been purchased via Ticketfly.

PLEASE NOTE: If earlier dinner reservations are made, your seats are not guaranteed for the show. For instance, reserving a table at 8:00pm and keeping it for a 10:00pm show is unlikely. The only way to guarantee a seat for the show is to purchase table, booth or banquette tickets.
