A Tribute to The Crusaders: Honoring the lives of Joe Sample, Wayne Henderson, and Wilton Felder

In the last few years, we have lost many great musicians. Some of these greats being three of the four core members of the Crusaders (formerly the Jazz Crusaders). Atlanta musicians, Kebbi Williams, Jonathan Lloyd, Khari Cabral Simmons, Nick Rosen, Chris Burroughs, and Nick Johnson pay tribute to the Crusaders on February 2nd at Venkman’s, playing two sets of music from two albums: “Southern Comfort” and “Chain Reaction”. Get ready for a night of horn driven West Coast Funk Jazz and classic groove at its best!
